Stalker Lidar: HUD info Overlay
See the Stalker Beam Pattern here:
Its the operators responsibility to keep track of which car had which speed,
but putting the Stalker LIDAR to the test with its "pin point accuracy"
in heavy traffic on the highway, can the operator actually:
lock in the correct speed on the correct vehicle?
Is the BMW really going 69 MPH?
You be the judge!
Oh, NOBODY would EVER doubt a LEO saying the BMW was doing 69 in a 65 or 55 MPH
If the operator triggers each individual vehicle and lets go of the trigger,
the "captured" info will remain in the HUD for a few seconds.
( It would be the ONLY way the officer could reference the speed and distance measurements )
Following traffic in the HUD with the unit will "overlay" the previous info over the new target.
Releasing the trigger is the only way to lock in a reading,
so you can bet this is habit forming during use.
The first one's easy........
but look how long the info in the HUD lingers on display......
HEY! That Olds in going 67 MPH right?
W R O N G !
How to read video time stamps.
Each 1 second of NTSC video is 30 frames (pictures) to make motion.
(PAL, in Europe, is 29 frames)
The time 0:29:11:25 is:
0 Hours, 29 minutes, 11 seconds and 25 (out of 30) frames.....
Check them all out......... Here you get to review all you want.
On the highway its what the operator remembers......
