Osprey Laser Ranger Finder with Speed reading


The optics of the Osprey are very dark coated lenses.

The laser medium seems to have a reflector around it.

Here it overpowers the video cameras sensitivity

but you can see each pulse (burst) being sent out in

a stream to reflect back with timing & distance data.

The beam pulses (per second) seem to be slow enough to be captured on video frames.

2 frames later:  Each frame is 1/30th of a second.

Kinda cool to catch each burst in mid flight.
