NH State Police Laser / Lidar use

2004, the NH State Police were testing their LIDAR units this day.

They just nabbed this lady, she'll get a verbal warning.  93 Northbound MM 72.3

EVERYONE did during the exercise I saw.

A reverse view from 93 South at their spot.

In the video I have the hold and bracing of the Lidar unit is evident with the operating officer.

93 North at the 101 Split: Mile Marker 21

Dead (right) center of this photo is the LIDAR trap.

Here the traffic gets wind of what's going on.  BRAKE lights...

The White car joins the group .... and ducks in behind traffic.

While the White car ducks in, I drew a line to show the possible "Bologny slice effect"

The Bologna Slice photo came from http://www.geocities.com/speeding@sbcglobal.net/lidarcase.html and :

Here the officer takes aim at either the 4runner which just "cut" in or me.

The officer appears to be bracing himself against the cruiser while shooting free hand.

Here I zoomed out so we can see the last few moments

Here the shooter gives up and goes to check on the partner.
